A Brazilian “Village Vibe”

It is not a Pink world but sometimes we need to make one.

Hi Everyone,

Has been a while since the last post but keeping in mind that this page was created with the intention of sharing a bit of the Brazilian culture in London. I am now IN Brazil so I will carry on doing it from here (for the time being). I hope you enjoy it.

Today I’d like to share the content in English, aiming to reach people who have not been in Brazil yet, also to my non Brazilian friends be able to understand some of our culture and maybe add it to their back pack if they wish.

Last Saturday I went to a place called “Raiz Culture Center” (@raizcentrocultural) which is a space where people share laughs and life experiences. There was an incredible band playing classic Rock songs, people exposing their handcraft work and a fire place burning.

This place is located in Garopaba (a small city by the sea, rich in culture and nature where I live at the moment).

The main point about this post is to mention the difference between the Brazil that I see on the news/television from the Brazil which I discovered here, in this city.

It’s a place where people enjoy their lives, exchange memories, knowledge end accept the differences (“the more different the better”). Differences enhance experiences but unfortunately only a few understand the meaning of it.

There was people dancing, over 50’s singing, kids playing and food been sold. For me, who spent over 10 years abroad it was an explosion of feelings: Happiness, expectation, joy, blissfulness and hope.

This city has 29.959 habitants, there is a mixture of 60’s vibe and a “young surf good vibration”. People do sports and jog by the beach. There is also respect to the nature and sustainable projects going on. (I promise, I DO NOT intend to make any Marketing campaign for the city here but I have to mention it).

I met many retired talented artists such as photographers, painters, writers, who contribute to keep the “charming vintage classic vibe” alive.

We cannot be Hypocritical and say that there is no gap between the higher and lower classes (it is a Brazilian problem which has been coming along the way for centuries) but here feels like the well-structured people, finally understood something priceless and started to share KNOWLEDGE, which makes the lower class LEARN from who already learned some secrets about life. And let’s all agree that sharing “secrets” is always valid, or at least arouse the curiosity.

I cannot forget to mention the Yoga vibe, it seems like 80% of the population knows how to breath & is a former Yogi which is (trendy) funny.

Is it too Pink to your taste? Maybe yes but perspective changes everything.

I want to ask you an important question here. What makes someone considered part of the upper or lower class of the population?

We all know, it is only one word: ACCESS.

Most people who teach here, learned the importance of giving opportunities & looking out for each other. In England, is common having access to things, it is common to earn a decent salary, it is common to be part of society or group, it is common not having to worry about pay your bills on time but here, it is a bit different for the majority of the population, that’s why who had the opportunity to learn THERE is able to teach HERE. (to be honest, it is an obligation actually)

The local council is conscious about the importance of education and encourages initiatives. I learned the importance of exchanging ideas and being open to understand what sparks other people’s interest.

What is considered “old” for you can be the new beginning to others. So share it! Do not be shy.

This experience in Brazil has been “mind blowing”. Watching people’s behaviour and relationships is making me learn something new about myself every single day. That’s why I share the idea that in life there is the right timing for everything that you wish for. So be patient,  maybe it is just not the right time yet but for sure IT IS coming.

I’ll leave some pictures about that night & city. I hope you enjoyed the “thoughts” and leave a comment if you have any. I ‘ll be happy to answer.

Accept the Differences.

When you stop comparing, everything becomes easier. Understand the differences and move on is extremely important. When I say UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCES I mean it, ONLY after this you are ready to move on. It is easy to compare and keeping comparing through the entire life. Who never wished to be here when was there?

This happens to everyone, due to something called expectations, which is usually followed by frustrations. As real as it can get, it is never as imagined, sometimes better sometimes worst, but certainly, never the same.

Why? Because of COMPARISON. We are consciously or unconsciously comparing things, places and people, so heads up! Comparison is the thief of joy.

How many people get confused when need or want to leave (the relationship, the job, the country, etc)? It is never easy when you have to leave that great friend behind, your sister, your parents, your future wife, your job or stop cycling that road, which you loved or also stop eating that delicious food from that specific place but you do it anyway, you leave all behind. Leave it because you are alive and till you die you will keep expecting. Humans are moved by emotions, some more than others. Humans are moved by expectations… careers, family, the unknown, safety, love, opportunities… that is, values.

This place called “Here” becomes incredible, when you start to create opportunities from adversities. Everything changes when the perspective changes, all the cons become pros and it flows. Here or There.

Are they hungry? Give them food.

Are the streets dirty? Clean it.

They don’t know? Teach them.

Is the traffic bad? Cycle.

Is your job not good? Change it.

Are you overweight? Exercise.

I know, coming up with an answer for everything is irritating but it does make sense, when the time comes you’ll stop fighting and will be able to understand it, consequently the peace of mind will also come and the differences will be always there to appreciate it but never there to complicate it.

Differences are needed, in order to motivate, to change, to expand but never to compete.

Ireland, Portugal, Italy and France.

Hello,

It has been a while since the last post but today I decided to share some of the good shots taken from 2012 to 2019 which I found on the end of the “trunk” when social media wasn`t a thing.

As the spring has already begun in the UK (even with the forecast showing some snow fall to the following week) the summer is around the corner and here is a warming up from me. These pictures were taken in many different places from many different angles with a classic and old Canon Power Shot S5iS 8.0 mega pixels. I hope you enjoy this trip.

Brazilian Techno in London.

London has showing some improvements on easing the lockdown measures and soon we all be allowed to party again and as far as I know talking about that Techno feelings is not forbidden yet. So I decided to bring up some ideas to the “life after lockdown” writing a bit about the Techno scene in London, of course not forgetting the SO important link to our ROOTS!

Who never heard parents or those who are not into a good Techno saying that “it`s not music it is only pure noise!”.

Well, for those who love it and have that special “hearing” to understand all the art, hard work and passion behind that heavy and acid beat believe or not, it can even make them feel emotional as every track could be interpreted as a key for a different perception of reality in that specific moment. It can sound very contradictory but this music is a type of art with so many different and single interpretations.

On a tempt of making my own analogy a bit more clear I will make a comparison to the “abstract art” which means: “a type of art that uses visual language of shape, form, colour and line to create a composition which may exist or not”.

So the sound created by a skilled professional can also take our imagination to places that belong only to our own “mind” but if he/she is really good it can make everyone come closer to the same “place”.

It is also seeing by many as a hobby and a healthy sport activity as dancing is considered a great work out.

So I spoke with Marcus Morais known as the DJ Mag Jack who is also taking a forced break from the busy venues to work on his new tracks and also on his well succeed podcast UNDR1ROOF created with the idea to open new doors to new artists.

Born in Goiania raised in the UK he started his career with only 18 years old playing Hip Hop and commercial music, after 4 years in the Brazilian music beats he decided to follow his passion and migrated to Techno.

He has been playing in the London underground scene since 2015 and right after went to his debut in Ibiza.

He mentioned that the main difference between playing here or in Brazil is basically the awareness of the underground industry, as apart from Sao Paulo (cradle of underground movements in Brazil, on his opinion) this industry is not well known and very much disseminated while London is a reference when it comes to underground experiences.

However, the reason why most DJs love to play in Brazil is the devotion and the fantastic warm welcoming from the public.

His references and inspiration to create his tracks comes from artists such as Carl Cox, Dennis Ferrer, Richie Hawtie, Jeff Mills, Sam Paganini, Chris Liebing and so go on. Unfortunately there is no confirmed dates to go back to the stage due to this uncertainty time but he will keep us updated on his social media channels and on his podcast.

So I hope you had fun as I did sharing my point of views and also understanding a bit more about the life of a talented Brazilian DJ in London. (and it`s not because we are friends but as you listened, he knows exactly what he does).

If you want to check on the best Techno venues in London, here are some options for you for post lockdown.

Brazilian Indigenous in Shoreditch Streets.

With the Lockdown disappearing slowly most of us are going for longer walks in iconic and vibrant places such as East London searching for the Buzz, the cultural mix and colours.

The spring has arrived and the heat wave is on its way so I have decided to go for my daily exercise around Shoreditch area to find out what`s going on.

As mentioned before my eyes are always looking for those Brazilians who stand out from the crown in this city so it was not coincidence to find one of the most famous Brazilian`s Street artist recognised as Cranio, “scull” in English.

World cup – In Brazil.

His Art is focused on the Brazilian Indigenous people who give most of the characteristics to the Brazilian culture. Predominant at the North and Central west according to the IBGE there are more than 900,000 people classified as indigenous divided in more than 300 tribes. They were the first to be in contact with the Europeans since 1500 when the Portuguese arrived in Brazil.

Their role in conserving the rich biodiversity of the cerrado (or savannahs) and the Amazon rainforest is vital.

`Why is it taking so long to believe that if we hurt nature, we hurt ourselves? We are not watching the world from without. We are not separate from it.’
Davi Kopenawa Yanomami

The Survival International Magazine did a great job showing the reality of this tribes and essential part of the Brazilian culture. If you want to know more click here: https://www.survivalinternational.org/tribes/brazilian

Now these people are suffering more than ever with the coronavirus sad situation that’s why the paradoxical  idea of seeing them “free” around London streets made me think about how threatened they are at the moment as the government once again won`t give the support that they need to face it safely.

“President Jair Bolsonaro is seen by many indigenous leaders as an enemy of their cause. He has said Brazil’s indigenous lands are too big and that their natural resources should be shared with the rest of the population.”

For more content check out the BBC report: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-52139875.

Back to Cranio…

The Art expressed on the walls by Fabio de Oliveira Parnaiba born in Sao Paulo in 1982 is a result of his search for a character that could show the indigenous people from Brazil. It could not have been chosen better. With their typical blue and distinctive shape, the indigenous finds themselves always in funny and curious situations, provoking the observer to think about contemporary issues like consumerism, corrupt politicians and the environment.

Cranio gets his inspiration from life, cartoons and the famous painter Salvador Dali. The artist has been improving his techniques, innovating in the context, but without losing the style he is known for.

If you want to know more about Cranio have a look on his page: https://cranioartes.com/about-sobre/.

And if you are an Artist or know one who`s looking for a little help to amplify their recognition, this website is good way of doing it. https://www.widewalls.ch/artist/cranio/

I hope you have enjoyed !

THE BEGINNING OF THE END.

Hi Everyone,

Now that we are all seeing a possible change of our “well re-adapted” routine approaching, (with a few shops and industries re-opening their doors slowly) in the U.K we can finally ask ourselves: WHAT DID WE LEARN FROM THIS??

It sounds like a silly question but if we haven’t learned anything from this Pandemic apart from keeping distance and exercise at least once a day, I am guessing we wasted our precious time staring the walls.

The lockdown made all of us go to places where we have never been before (or even thought about going!).

WITH NO CABLE CAR!!

Here in the U.K many of us were lucky enough to have our 80% wages paid by the government, many have been able to enjoy the sunshine from our own garden, balconies or windows and couldn’t really complain at all. It could actually be seen as an extended or an early summer holiday! Of course in tragic times this only really applies if you were not one of the family members of the 26,000 plus people who sadly lost their lives due to this virus.

In case you are wondering if you were the only one who had a million of insights about yourself and the world around you, my answer is NOPE.

Many started new hobbies, new business new romances, new families and why not new lives after the process of re-thinking and re-building new perspectives and values.

For some of us this HUNGER for the new beginning starts with high expectations and a sense of YES WE LEARNED THE LESSON! (whatever it was for you.)

It kind of light up a little bulb in our minds somehow.

Assuming that we are all here in a process of becoming better selves, this period will for sure make a huge impact on this generation IF you were able to reflect a bit otherwise it will remain exactly the same, apart from the new business of “trendy mask”.

  • Some people went back home,
  • some people moved to friends or partners houses,
  • some people decided to have a “me time”,
  •  some people had no choices,
  • some people started therapy,
  • some people turned into athletes,
  •  some people lost weight,
  •  some people gained it,
  •  some people went through breakups,
  • some people started online dating,
  • some people found new jobs,
  • some people will definitely start work from home,
  • some people will go back to work even more motivated,
  • some people won`t never go back. But overall we all have one point in common, the reassurance that we can face difficult times in our own singular ways becoming more creative, wiser and why not more conscious and relieved knowing that everything will always be alright.

I was one of those people who decided to stay with a group of friends called: Me, Myself and I (I know…no gathering allowed!). Can`t deny that it hit me hard but it was also one of the most relevant experiences that I ever had to go through.

If I learned something from all of this, it is:

If we focus on the small things which ones we CAN change things get way lighter,

The little daily to-do list matter,

Reconnect to your values sometimes is essential,

Have time to improve techniques of self-awareness, self-care and well-being is priceless,

Wave to the next door neighbour is fun,

Drink 2 litres of water every day is possible,

Stay physically away from vulnerable people is beneficial for both,

Keeping a good humour, positivism and the sarcasm could save your life,

I also learned that beside the temporary physical isolation there is one other type even worse called the “mind alienation” where people get stuck in their own judgements and truths used to put labels in “birds into cages”.

In a world where all of us want to fly, free our mind (before step outside) is a good start. Otherwise we’ll still be “prisoners”.

The biggest insight into all of this, on my opinion is not about learning how to wait but learn how to STOP waiting and start living.

I hope you all had a bit of fun and also could find some similarities about this weird (but needed) time.

So if YOU learned something (Hobbies, new skill, recipe, books etc), leave a comment or drop me an email, would be fun exchange some lockdown experiences.

Curious Sports from your sofa.

Hey Everyone

As we are all still in lock down at this time I decided to bring up some curious sports in the attempt to make things a little more exiting from your sofa.

Pure focus on entertainment and new information.

The other day I was watching a documentary about Canary Island (dreaming about my next destination when all of this is over) and they were showing something really intriguing called Salto del Pastor it is basically their national sport and also a way of getting around easily in the middle of dangerous terrenes as caves, cliffs and sandy slippery soil.

Salto del Pastor (Quite complex :D)

History:

The origins of Salto del pastor may date back to the Guanches, the aboriginal inhabitants of the islands prior to the Castilian conquest period of the early 15th century. Canarian shepherds required a specialised means of transporting themselves safely across ravines and down steep embankments, and settled on the use of long wooden poles known as lanza or garrote. These poles are fitted with sharp metal points called regatón.

Description

Salto del pastor practitioners have developed a wide range of techniques to facilitate quick and agile movement across extremely difficult and dangerous terrain. These techniques range from pole-vaulting across crevices to the “dead drop” in which the practitioner leaps into space from heights of up to eight metres, jamming his/her garrotte into the ground below and then sliding down the pole. There are many other types of leaps, depending on the nature of the obstacle that needs to be cleared.

As Salto del pastor has now developed into a folk-sport, the garrote is also used in competitive events, which include climbing up and jumping over walls, speedy descents down steep rocks, precision leaps, acrobatic feats and leaps of various styles

So I decided to do a simple link within some of the Brazilian weirdest/creative sports which shows lots of characteristics and sense behind the history. So here we go:

Sandboard:

Created by surfers in Florianopolis in the 1980s when the waves were not good for surfing, the sport of Sandboard calls for athletes to “surf” the sand dunes with a plank similar to that of a snowboard. The sport has four categories: big air, slope style, boarder cross and slalom, and has been gaining fans all over the world. There have been competitions of Sandboard in the US, Australia, Uruguay and Argentina.(According to the Wikipedia)

Peteca:

The word “peteca” comes from the Tupi indigenous tribe which means “swing” or “blow.” The peteca is made of a rubber base with feathers attached at the top and played very much like badminton, but with the hands instead of a racket. The peteca game was widely used by the indigenous before the Portuguese arrived in what is now Brazil. In 1920, at the Antwerp Olympic Games, some Brazilian athletes carried with them petecas for recreational purposes. This attracted the attention of athletes from other countries, but only in 1973 was the first Peteca Federation created, in the state of Minas Gerais. In 1987 the first Brazilian Peteca Competition was held and in 2000 the World Peteca Federation was created in Berlin, Germany. The largest peteca federations today are found in Germany and Japan. The game in other parts of the world is called indiaca.(According to the Wikipedia)

Tetarfe is a traditional game created by the Gauchos (The gaucho is a national symbol in Argentina and Uruguay, but is also a strong culture in southern Brazil. Gauchos became greatly admired and renowned in legends, folklore and literature and became an important part of their regional cultural tradition, today a gaucho is, according to the same source, simply “A country person, experienced in traditional livestock farming”.

It is one of the 8 modalities from the Farroupilha Games (traditional regional championship which ONLY happen in the Rio Grande do Sul every year) it is played in a pitch made with soil (9m of length to 2m width) where  the player have 10 chances to throw a “big coin” as closer as possible of a hole surrounded by 3 circles on the floor, which one gives a different score, so as closer you get from the hole more points you get (bigger circle 2 points middle circle 3 points and IN the hole 4 points- SO SIGHT THE HOLE!

I also found this one worthy to mention as it was created by a very EXTREME creative English fella!  BELIEVE OR NOT ITS FOR REAL !! So enjoy it.

Extreme Ironing:

Official explanation of Extreme Ironing via the Extreme Ironing Bureau is that it’s “the latest danger sport that combines the thrills of an extreme outdoor activity with the satisfaction of a well pressed shirt.”  Ironing boards are taken to virtually anywhere you can think of: caves, forests, waterfalls, out on kayaks, and into New York City, and the competitors…iron.  The sport originated in Britain, and has actually gotten a surprising amount of media coverage.(According to the Wikipedia)

So how about climbing that tree on your back garden and do some ironing? (maybe not)

Which one would you be willing to try?

I hope you have enjoyed!

If you know any other curious sport (from your hometown or family tradition) drop me a comment.

Thank Youuuuuu!

OBRIGADA!

Internet and its Controversies in times of Covid-19.

Hello everyone,

I guess all of us are bursting with creativity in these days of quarantine. Maybe doing incredible things, such as: crafting, cutting wood, gardening, drawing, exercising, cooking in a mission of transforming our anxiety in the most different  and unexpected ways. As I said on the previous post, “almost” everything is possible when it comes to creativity, expressing your mind is allowed and free! ( just be cautious and use the common sense to do not harm anyone around you, with that knife, dibble or skipping robe, as I potentially would do).

In my case I decided to write (safer for everyone)!

So this time it will be about the Internet and its Controversy.

Today, I have watched a report on a Brazilian television channel talking about those coronavirus patients who are in hospitals being forced to speak with their families through the phone. Most of those patients were over 70 years old.  People in the report were thankful for the internet and the technology, to make that communication possible.

Seriously?

Not being able to talk face-to-face or hug a member of your family is really a good thing?(right, it can be less harmful option on these days, but not a GOOD thing for sure- there is a big difference between both).

It is completely understandable that these measures of talking through devices are better than not having any contact at all and mainly in times like this which we are all getting even more attached and dependent on these little things.

So, my question is: When it stops being beneficial and it starts to be a threat?

We created our own enemy with the intention of making our lives easier, but now we can`t survive without it. So as my granny used to say: “If you can`t fight IT, join IT”

As much as you are aware of who you are and your purpose in the world this self-awareness become threatened when you allow certain type and amount of information to come to you, distinguish what is real and what is not (stay in the moment without thinking how many likes your shared MOMENT will have) becomes harder and confusing, mainly for teenagers and kids.

The false sense of belonging that social media brings to us, gives at the same time a sense of dependency and fake illusion of another parallel reality, that is slowly becoming our main reality however if it wasn’t for this incredible tool we wouldn’t be able to comfort people`s hearts and also being comforted, distracted or even learn something new.

It is a hard exercise but could you try to imagine how people would go through these times in about 20/30 years ago without internet?

I imagine a picture in my head of people paying cash everywhere, queueing outside of the phone booths, reading the local newspapers, waking up early morning, listening to the local radio news, cooking a lot more(as there was no take away services), kids playing Barbie, ball and table games, not working from home at all and sending post cards to one another.

Not too different to nowadays, I guess  .

My idea here was just to make a quick reflexion of how free we are exactly, when our mind is 24/7 connected and open to information from all over the places, that we are barely able to filter and select it. A good friend once made me re-think about the term “boundaries” and the importance of health space, as it is easily forgotten in the world that we live in. So I understood that beside being kind and supportive, we have to learn how to LIMIT and SELECT the things that comes towards us and affect our routine, distract and take our attention away. (or not, overall it`s all about balance).

So think wise and learn how to manage this access to you. Don’t be always closed otherwise you won`t learn but don’t be too open otherwise you`ll become vulnerable. When you are too vulnerable you are willing to lower your energy levels and lose your focus on your own things and personal growth.Without mentioning that your phone battery will die way faster with your dumb finger rolling for bullshit. So save yourself (and your phone), keep the balance, enjoy your own company, be creative, maybe thank the internet (or not) STAY SAFE and positive, when it`s possible!

Careful with who you are going to bed with.

I would love to hear a feedback and also get some more posts ideas from you guys, it would help me a lot on the next ones. I hope you had enjoyed and a biiiiiiiig thank youuu for reading it till the end. 😀

Here are some more controversial videos related to what have been said above.

COVID-19 TIMES

Hey Everyone,

It’s just a quick note about the purpose of this new project:

It is an idea to express point of views, curiosities and also share valid information about the most varied topics in a brief, simple and direct way with no long and tiring readings, keep in mind that it will be from my own perspective and researches.

The blog will be mainly addressed to the huge Brazilian community located in London.  To those who just arrived in the city or to those who already became British Citizens. I hope you find it interesting, with straight forward contents but mainly genuinely hope that you can have a bit of fun when reading it. 😀

So, I finally felt brave enough to put out this idea which one has been left on the side for years but now with no excuses to run away. Before we might be blaming lack of time or being too busy doing all sort of different activities, but now we are all in the same boat called: At home.

Initially the idea was to show and guide Brazilians and everyone else through the most creative places (in my opinion) for coffee, walks, free expositions, low budget but good quality places to eat and explore. The idea was to promote mainly Brazilian places aiming to help them to succeed and improve their business somehow. Also, for those good, smart, creative people from all over the globe that have something to talk about in this crazy and vibrant city.

However, due to this corona virus outbreak that has been slowing down the pace of everyone`s lives, with a sad huge amount of deaths and sickness all over the globe, I still believe that it will change the human behaviour for the better, making people more conscious, kind, creative and healthy. I know it sounds cliche but let`s keep positive and use this time to become a better version of ourselves.

On these days I am sure that won’t lack contents about mental health, work outs and well-balanced diets however, I am here not to compete against anyone, it is just a personal project to give more information and a bit of distraction.

1-Starting from the basic advice of learning how to deal with your emotions, analysing them and understanding them will make you feel less willing and vulnerable to go into that very well-known loop of anxiety.

If you stop for a second breath and think about how your body react differently for every stimulus that comes from outside you will be amazed of how well you can manage your responses.

It is not easy to learn how to read your body, but it is a good time to learn, you could start asking yourself why your hands are sweating or your body shaking or your chest feeling pressured/squeezed so if you are able to find out the answers it’s a big step leading to the second one which is finding a way of controlling it or drop it, if it`s irrelevant.

2-Acknowledging the real meaning of  “there are things which you can`t control or change” letting go will bring you a certain peace of mind which will “cool your jets” and free your mind to focus on things that YOU can change. (like having the need of control itself)

3-For those things that you can control make a list, prioritise it, organise it pull your sleeves up and crack on. (focus on yourself!)

I know that everyone is talking about the same topics over and over again, but I do believe that taking care of your body and exercising will bring you also a very healthy mind and soul.

4-So start that yoga class online (not because it`s trendy but because it really helps- give it a chance) go for your (the only one) daily walk or run (adding those extra steps every day) choose one kitchen challenge once or twice a week  ( just careful to do not burn out the kitchen as I probably would) start that blog idea or write down those random thoughts from your head (will help you with the sense of organisation) do that online therapy session, face-time your old friends from school, watch documentaries, read that book that you started a year ago and haven’t finished yet or organise those pictures from last summer, as there is another one just around the corner!!

You can call me sceptical, but I do have those feelings (as most of you) of disbelief when watching people pretending that they got their SHT together in all those beautiful online tutorials teaching how to live a happy life, believe in yourself and all this bla bla bla literally makes me sick, when we all know that life is made of ups and downs, good and not very good days, but each of us got our OWN strategies to deal with it, knowing that we see things in a similar way, it makes the walk slightly more exciting and easier, there is nothing more real than believe in our gut and in our own strength to overcome whatever you have to overcome to keep that so “desired” BALANCE.

So if that tutorial makes you happier, go for it! 😀

Unfortunately the uncertainty makes us a bit more vulnerable, we also have the option of seen this from a different perspective, so making a little difference on people`s lives is always a good practice.

I will link below some good videos about what I mentioned on top, like : Online classes, fun and creative activities, breathing techniques and also good recipes. (Mostly from Brazilians when available).

All very easy, simple, relevant and practical. I hope you had enjoyed this modest and unpretentious  post.

Warning :DONT GENERALIZE IT!! 😉
